TOMUU Linear Actuator Quality Control
We follow ISO9000 quality standards, OHSAS18000 international safety standards, and ISO14000 environment management standards.
To ensure a high level of product quality, several test will be carried out:
Waterproof test
To make sure the precision linear actuator will work well in rain, the waterproof test will carried out in the lab. The max waterproof level is up to IP68
Dust-proof test
For products with requirements of resistance of dust, especially products working in solar power system, the dust-proof test need to be carried out on shell and sealing elements. Using powder or fine dust to simulate the outdoor environment to make sure the product will work well in dusty environment.
Material test
We use the material testing machine to carry out tensile strength testing on products and accessories, like metal components, plastic components, structural components, and rivet components to avoid flaws.
L Type Load test
For products with small pushing force(less than 8000N), especially for furniture. The load test is carried out to examine whether the load capacity and lifetime of the products will meet the requirement of clients.
Hydraulic load test
For products with large pushing force(8000-50000N) destructive tests will be carried out on products to obtain the optimal push force and know more about the safety coefficient of products. The max pushing force of the hydraulic test machine is 130000N.
Outdoor test
To simulate the actual outdoor environment, we examine the load capacity, resistance of water, dust, high temperature, low temperature, and ultraviolet rays of the products to determine an estimated working lifetime.
Strength test
We use a Rockwell hardness tester to carry out strength testing on steel plate, steel pipe, shafts, molds, forge parts, heat treated parts and surface quenched parts, which ensures the strength of components meets the requirements of the design.
Drop test
Drop testing will be carried out at different drop height according to the material and weight of products to ensure no damage is caused during delivery.
UV test
The hardware accessories which are exposed to air, plastic parts and connectors are placed in a UV box, simulating weather to make sure the life of products meets the design requirements.
Lateral force test
This test is mainly applicable for heavy load products which are influenced by overlap distance of built-in tubes and exterior tubes to make sure the products meet the lateral force requirements at the smallest overlap distance.
Two-dimensional measuring instrument
This instrument is used to measure the size of products or molds with the requirements of good precision to reduce measuring errors, including position, concentricity, straightness, roundness and profile tolerance.
Acoustic test chamber
This equipment measures the noise caused by linear actuators and obtains a noise level in the soundproof room(the noise in soundproof room need to be less than 30dB while noise in outdoor environment is greater than 65dB)
Salt mist test
To examine the major accessories of our products ensuring they have proper resistance to corrosion caused by outdoor salt mist.
